JOIN US AS A SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT MANAGER TO SUPERVISE AND FORMALIZE A GLOBAL DATA ANNOTATION MARKETPLACE.

The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining a transparent and healthy supply chain of service partners for a global data annotation marketplace. S/he will have to exhibit a sound knowledge about supply chain management processes and compliance. It is expected that the SCM Manager will be an expert negotiator, oversee service partner enlistment and compliance procedures, inventory management, and resources and expenditure forecasting.

This role will be integrated with our US-based partner’s team, and will be working and reporting directly to our partner’s organization. Acme AI, and its partner, both work in the global image annotation market and therefore the incumbent will be working in the supply chain contextual to the sector. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with other Service Operations departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to provide an effective supply chain throughout the data operation life cycle. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with service partners in order to ensure constant high level service.
  • Negotiate the best price with the required Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with potential service partners. 
  • Analyze current procedures and suggest improvements to increase supply chain efficiency and profitability. 
  • Develop policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain. 
  • Maintain a continuous vetting pipeline by researching for potential strong partners, engaging with them, and bringing them under our vetting process. 
  • Establish performance metrics for evaluating factors that are affecting the supply chain.
  • Evaluate the performance of service partners, assess their capacity to meet quality and delivery requirements.
  • Do monthly resource allocation planning in order to avoid any supply chain shocks. 
  • Monitor service partners’ cost on a regular basis. 
  • Review monthly service partner annotation expenditure and payments. 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 

EXPERIENCE + QUALIFICATION

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree from a recognized university.
  • 4-6 years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • Any recognized certification on Supply Chain Management will be an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams. 
  • Will have to demonstrate the ability to be able to adjust and work in a fast pace delivery environment during the hiring process. 
  • People management skills.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Thorough understanding of Supply Chain Management processes and procedures.

JOB NATURE, LOCATION + ROLE REQUIREMENTS

This is a mid-level, fulltime position that reports to the Head of Service Operations and Marketplace. The incumbent is expected to partake in international travel. Our general workweek is from Monday to Friday in a calendar week from 10.00 AM to 07.00 PM. Location of work is at Acme AI HQ, located at Level 6, House 385, Road 6, Mirpur DOHS, Dhaka 1216.

SALARY: Competitive salary based on market range, experience and competency. Festival bonus as per labour law.
